Goodview Park, 6th Street and 44th Avenue, Goodview
Goodview Park is one of our first parks built in 1962 which started out with playground equipment, tennis courts, and ball field with the Dale Evans Pavilion being built after in 1986. The volleyball court was added on in 1993. Many ball games are played at this park.
Michael LaCanne Memorial Park, 6280 Hwy 61, Goodview
The Michael LaCanne Memorial Park is one of the most popular parks in the area. Opening in the summer of 2003, the park features numerous amenities including restrooms, changing rooms, vending machines, pavilions, two soccer fields, a modified basketball court, a paved walking/bicycling path with numerous seating areas and bridges, a fishing pier, plenty of playground equipment, a large sandy beach and plenty of water for everyone provided by Lake Goodview.
Memorial Park, 9th Street & 44th Avenue, Goodview
Memorial Park, formerly known as Diocese Park, was started in 1972 with an open-air pavilion and playground set. In 1985 the City of Goodview purchased the Diocese Park Land and renamed the park "Memorial Park". The pavilion/concession/equipment room was added in 1989 and later the flag garden was added in 1992. The Memorial Park Ballfield was later dedicated to Jo Prysbylski at the 1997 Goodview Days celebration in honor of her dedication to our Park Rec organization which she instigated and participated in for years after. It is now called "Pryzybylski Field". Tennis courts were added to Memorial Park in 2009 to replace the courts that were removed from Goodview Park in order to make room for a water treatment building.
WE Valley Park, 48th Avenue and Pine Court, Goodview
WE Valley Park was developed in 1992 to compliment a new subdivision being built in the valley. The park currently contains a softball field and playground equipment. Numerous ball games are scheduled at the ballfield throughout the summer months.
Woodhaven Park. Woodland Boulevard and Kingswood Drive, Goodview
Woodhaven Park was developed in 1986 to compliment Woodhaven Estates on the bluff side of Highway 61. Woodhaven park contains a ballfield, pavilion and playground equipment.
