NOTICE TO GOODVIEW WATER CUSTOMERS 

The City of Goodview Water Department will be flushing water mains from Monday, May 5, 2008 through Friday, May 9, 2008.  This may result in discolored water service at your residence for a brief time.  It is recommended that residents be especially cautious if they intend to wash clothing during those five days.

2008 ELECTION YEAR -

The primary election this year is Sept. 9th and the general election is Nov. 4th.  Filing affidavits for candidacy will be available in July.  Offices available will be 3 Councilpersons and 1 Mayor.  Any citizen over the age of 18 years who has been a resident of Minnesota for more 20 days may vote at elections in the City of Goodview.  You must register at the County Auditor's Office in Winona.

GOODVIEW LACANNE PARK

GOODVIEW'S LACANNE PARK IS OPEN FOR PUBLIC USE.  ALL FACILITIES HAVE BEEN CLEANED AND SANITIZED.  LAKE WATER QUALITY:  SAFE FOR SWIMMING.  WATER QUALITY MONITORING WILL CONTINUE.
